Raissa Kubandi
Raissa Watandila Kubandi and her family are originally from the Congo, but have spent 20 years living in and around Atlanta, GA. Raissa has worked in students' ministry full time since 2014, and has spent a little under a year working in inner-city outreach. She loves sports, basketball being her favorite. She also loves going to concerts, her favorite shows being Johnnyswim, Jayden and Willow Smith, The 1975, and Drake. Her favorite city to visit is New York.Raissa moved to Denver in 2021 and currently oversees United Student Ministries and co-leads the Young Adults ministry. She is extremely passionate about people, especially teenagers and young adults. Raissa’s goal is to help youth and young adults recognize that they are immeasurably valuable and loved through discipleship, communication, and curating events that help them connect to God and each other.
