Sundays

Sunday services at Denver United are our main gatherings each week. We meet for two identical services at 9:00 and 10:45am. Our services feature modern worship and Bible teaching in a casual, contemporary atmosphere with free coffee and tea. There is a full kids ministry from birth through 5th grade, and student ministries as well. Our property is located at 660 South Broadway, Denver, CO 80209.

Common Questions

What are your weekend services like?

Each weekend at Denver United Church you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with eclectic contemporary worship music. A printed info bulletin and a large-screen slide presentation help you make the most of the practical and relevant message. Children are well-cared for in a loving, quality nursery and fun-filled United Kids service.

What should I wear?

Please come as you are. Our congregation varies in their dress from casual wear, such as jeans and t-shirts, to an occasional suit & tie wearer. Come in what is comfortable for you, because Denver United is not about what you look like or what you wear, but who Jesus is and what he has done for each one of us.

What do you believe, and what is your vision as a church?

Denver United Church is an interdenominational family of Jesus Christ’s followers. As such, we respect every established theological stream within the span of orthodoxy reflected in the evangelical tradition. Denver United Church purposes to focus on the absolute, non-negotiable truths of Scripture. These truths are capably expressed in two succinct confessions - the Apostles’ Creed and the NAE Statement of Faith. Read an in-depth explanation of our beliefs and vision.

How did the church get started?

What will happen when I visit for the first time?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for awhile—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if this is the church for you.

Will I be contacted or placed on a mailing list?

Our staff customarily contacts any first-time attendees to thank them for attending and offer some next steps connection opportunities; however, any further contact would be up to you. You will be given a connection card; if you choose to fill it out, you will notice that there will be a place on the card for you to note if you would like further contact. If you would like a visit from the pastor, this can be arranged and if not, your request will be respected.

How can I meet others and get connected?

There are many ways to get involved. You can attend our Next Steps Track, held every month over a series of three one-hour lunch sessions on Sundays after the second service. Here you can meet the pastors and have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussion about the church. Small groups are another great way to connect. In each of these, you can build friendships, learn more about the life of our church, and have the opportunity to grow in your faith. Feel free to give us a call at 303-800-8269, or info@denverunited.com.

How can I get involved in a small group?

One of the easiest things to do at Denver United is to participate in a small group. Groups meet throughout the Denver-metro area and provide a place for Bible study, fellowship, and support. Wherever you live, there’s a small group near you. Check out our online directory and visit a group this week.
